Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the vinylreviews.com website (our “Website”) and all the services it provides. It explains what information we (Vinyl Reviews or the Company) collect, how we use that information, how we protect your privacy and the confidentiality of the collected information, and what you can do to opt-out of the information we’ve collected. Information You Voluntarily Provide Us: When you visit our Website and use any services, we may collect certain types of information that you submit voluntarily. Vinyl Reviews has partnered with several ecommerce platforms to enable you to safely and securely make payments for products and services purchased through those sites. When you pay for a service, these e-commerce platforms require that you provide them with personally identifiable information (PII), which may include your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. This information is not shared with Vinyl Reviews. Consult the privacy policies of these platforms to see how your information is used.

Information We Collect From Third Parties:

This Website uses Google Analytics, which means that every time you view a page on the site, your browsers also send a request to Google, allowing Google to also collect cookies, pages viewed and computer information independent of our collection. Google’s use of this information is governed by its own privacy policy, https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. We may also acquire information about you from third parties. This information includes the same types of Personal Information described above that you may voluntarily provide to us. Those third parties have privacy policies that may differ from this Privacy Policy. We do not control the data privacy or protection policies of third parties, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Transferring personal data from the European Union to the United States

Vinyl Reviews has its headquarters in the United States. Information we collect from you will be processed in the United States. The United States has not sought nor received a finding of “adequacy” from the European Union under Article 45 of the GDPR. The Company relies on derogations for specific situations as set forth in Article 49 of the GDPR. In particular, the Company collects and transfers to the U.S. personal data only: with your consent; to perform a contract with you; or to fulfill a compelling legitimate interest of the Company in a manner that does not outweigh your rights and freedoms. The Company endeavors to apply suitable safeguards to protect the privacy and security of your personal data and to use it only consistent with your relationship with Vinyl Reviews and the practices described in this Privacy Policy. The Company also enters into data processing agreements and model clauses with its vendors whenever feasible and appropriate.

In compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our Website and related services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older.
