Reissue specialty label, Craft Recordings has announced that it will be releasing the entirety of Panart Record’s Cuban Jam Session albums as a 5-LP box set on November 9th.
As per the album announcement: “Featuring an all-star line-up including Julio Gutiérrez, Niño Rivera, José Fajardo, and Cachao. Together, these albums encapsulate a stylistic and historic panorama of Cuban music, from big band son montuno to Afro-Cuban rumba, mambo, cha-cha-cha and country acoustic guajira music, at the same time that they attest to Cuba’s long relationship with popular American music and jazz.”
The reissue set will include five 180gram vinyl records, mastering by Ron McMaster and pressing at RTI.
