The official music video for Gregory Alan Isakov’s “San Luis” premiered at NPR Music/WXPN who hail it as, “a mesmerizing, sprawling road video…Simply put, the video for ‘San Luis’ invites you in to a place that you never want to leave.”
Directed by National Geographic contributor Andy Mann, the video was filmed with Keith Ladzinski and Chris Alstrin in Colorado’s San Luis Valley and Great Sand Dunes National Park.
The song is from Isakov’s critically acclaimed new album, Evening Machines, which debuts this week at #1 on Billboard’s Americana/Folk Albums chart with over 12,700 equivalent albums sold—a career high chart position and sales week for the renowned singer, songwriter and performer. Out now on Dualtone Records, the record continues to receive widespread praise.
