Los Angeles band GØGGS will be releasing their new album, Pre Strike Sweep, on vinyl via In The Red on September 28th.
Pre Strike Sweep has enjoyed critical praise leading up to its release with SPIN calling the album “a pummeling blast of drum fills and distorted bass,” that “opens up into half-time and psychedelic swirls of wah-wah take the lead.”
As per the PR: “GØGGS add a new level of primordial anxiety to their already catastrophic symphony with Pre Strike Sweep. Written collaboratively as a band with lyrics by Shaw, and recorded and mixed over the last year by Segall, Pre Strike Sweep explores the damaging effects of modern life before blowing them up one by one.”
