To mark the 50th anniversary of The Doors’ album Waiting For The Sun, Rhino Records is releasing a deluxe 2 CD and 1 LP collection.

From Rhino: “This 2-CD, 1-LP collection offers fans a new version of the original stereo mix of the album on CD as well as on 180-gram vinyl, and as you might reasonably presume, the album has indeed been remastered by Bruce Botnick, The Doors’ longtime engineer-mixer, from the original master tapes. In addition, fans will also be graced with 14 completely unreleased tracks: nine “rough mixes” from the original recording sessions which were only recently discovered, and five live performance from a 1968 performance by the band in Copenhagen.”

Waiting For The Sun: 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition will be available September 14th and available for pre-order now.
