The video for “Gainesville”—a previously unreleased song—is premiering today. “Gainesville” was recorded in 1998 during Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers’ Echo sessions and is a part of Tom Petty’s career-spanning box set An American Treasure, out now on Reprise Records.
The 60-track set unveils previously unreleased recordings, alternate versions of classic songs, rarities, historic live performances and deep tracks that spotlight Tom Petty’s remarkable depth and evolution as a revered and tremendously influential songwriter, recording artist and performer.
